Magic number: 15 votes wins 15th subcircuit

The Illinois State Board of Elections has certified the results of last month’s Democratic primary race and confirmed a narrow victory for Cook County Circuit Judge Christopher E. Lawler over four opponents. On March 19, one day after the election, Lawler held a 14-vote lead over attorney Michael B. Barrett with all 291 precincts in the south suburban 15th Judicial Subcircuit reporting.
