Runners know that hydration is part of the program. Often, lifters forget about proper hydration. Lifters need to hydrate much as any other athlete. Your muscles need it. As the weather starts getting cooler, still make sure to drink water while working out. Failure to properly hydrate can lead to cramping and aches. You don’t need to carry around a gallon like some gym rats do, but make sure to take sips throughout the workout and after.
