In cross-state custody case, high court emphasizes constitutional jurisdiction

SPRINGFIELD — In a custody case that crosses state borders, the Illinois Supreme Court has ruled that a Champaign father can continue his effort to gain full custody of a child who now lives with his mother in Nevada. A unanimous opinion authored by Justice Lloyd A.
