Lawyer faces penalty for divorce-case acts

A Park Ridge lawyer accused of lying to a judge and other misconduct should lose his law license for six months, a lawyer-discipline panel has urged.An Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Review Board panel recommended the sanction for Russell J. Stewart last week.It’s twice the suspension what an ARDC Hearing Board recommended in February.The only issue before the review board was the appropriate sanction stemming from the alleged misconduct in an underlying divorce case.Stewart expressed little to no remorse …
