Camera suit gets judge’s green light

The latest lawsuit against Chicago’s red-light cameras may look familiar.The same lawyer took the issue to the Illinois Supreme Court last year with similar claims — that the city’s ordinance for the program violated state law, and a subsequent state law was unconstitutional.But among the similar arguments, which were given a procedural green light in Cook County court last week, is a new allegation — many of the city’s yellow lights are also illegal.Patrick J.
