Failure to show bias dooms woman’s case

A woman who worked in the Winnebago County Courthouse failed to show her bosses violated the Americans with Disabilities Act when they refused to create a barrier between her and the public, a federal appeals court held Wednesday.The 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals declined to revive a lawsuit Barbara J. Wells filed against the county after she quit her job working with pro se litigants.The court noted Wells suffers from chronic fatigue syndrome.This condition constitutes a disability that can impair memory and …
