SPRINGFIELD — The state’s top lawyer is still pushing for new protections from lead-contaminated drinking water after lawmakers failed to approve them this year.Attorney General Lisa M. Madigan still wants legislators to green light a measure requiring older schools with younger children to test their water sources for lead.
