A federal appeals court Monday cleared the way for a Peruvian woman to be deported for voting in two United States elections.The 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals rejected the argument that Margarita Del Pilar Fitzpatrick should not be forced to return to her homeland for what she contends was an innocent mistake.When she went to an Illinois Secretary of State facility to get a driver’s license in 2005, Fitzpatrick alleges, a clerk asked if she wanted to register to vote even though she had shown him her green card …
