Lawyer finds trouble in two states; ARDC urges disbarment

An attorney discipline panel has recommended that former Paducah, Ky., attorney Delbert Keith Pruitt be disbarred in Illinois for allegedly taking about $4,800 of a client’s funds following her divorce.In a default proceeding held in Springfield in December, an Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission Hearing Board found that Pruitt, 57, should be removed from practice for his alleged misconduct that occurred between 2012 and 2015.According to the hearing board’s report filed on March 23, Pruitt did …
