Towns sued over Fox Lake manhunt arrests

Three men sued the Lake County law enforcement agencies who conducted a manhunt for a supposed gunman who killed a Fox Lake police officer, even though investigators suspected Lt. Joseph “Joe” Gliniewicz died by suicide.Plaintiffs Raymond Willoughby, Damien Ward and Dan Cooper said they were arrested separately or detained by authorities as police searched for Gliniewicz’s killer on Sept. 1, 2015.The suit was filed Thursday in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.The Lake County Major …
