Difficult tenant loses $1.25M in legal fight

A Milwaukee company will pay $1.25 million after it intentionally tried to thwart efforts to sell a warehouse it was renting from its Rosemont-based landlord.Milwaukee County Judge David A. Hansher awarded the damages to 1125 Heather LLC, the landlord, after a bench trial in Milwaukee County Circuit Court.While in the process of purchasing the warehouse, located in Milwaukee, in July 2011, 1125 Heather negotiated a new lease with the tenant, who was occupying the property at the time and is not part of the current suit …
