Penalty urged for not registering but practicing

An Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission Hearing Board has recommended that Bellwood attorney Ernest Eugene Wiley Jr. be suspended for six months and until further order of the court for allegedly practicing when he was not registered with the ARDC.Although Wiley did not appear at his hearing, he argued in his answer to the ARDC administrator’s complaint that he was authorized to practice despite not being up-to-date on his ARDC registration.In his answer, Wiley claims that the Illinois Supreme Court …
