The Archdiocese of Chicago has petitioned for more than $60,000 in sanctions against a man accused of making false sex abuse claims against ex-priest Daniel McCormack.Cook County Circuit Judge Kathy M. Flanagan issued an order in October granting Supreme Court Rule 137 sanctions against John J. Doe, finding there was a legal and factual basis to determine the lawsuit was without merit.James C.
