Defense must pay ex-porn lawyer’s fees

As John L. Steele fights a disciplinary complaint from his past as a porn lawyer, he got some good news today in his endeavor filing Americans with Disabilities Act cases. His legal fees in at least one case will be paid by his opposing counsel.In a combative court hearing this morning, U.S District Judge Milton I. Shadur ordered the Voelker Litigation Group to pay Steele for the time he spent responding to a motion to consolidate up to a dozen Americans with Disabilities Act lawsuits Steele filed starting in April.The 91 …
