Chicago wins round in sanctuary cities battle

A federal judge today temporarily enjoined the Trump administration from withholding federal grant money from sanctuary cities across the country.“It’s an affirmation of the rule of law,” Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel said in a press conference Friday afternoon celebrating what the city considers a big win in its ongoing battle with President Donald Trump’s immigration policies.“It’s a clear statement by the federal judge that the Trump administration is wrong,” Emanuel said.In a …
