Renee Melbourn was a passenger in a 29-foot cigarette boat named Purple Haze on July 28, 2012, when the allegedly intoxicated operator, David Hatyina, hit and killed 10-year-old Antonio Borcia after the youngster fell off a tube that was being towed by a pontoon boat on Petite Lake in Lake County.Hatyina was sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to aggravated DUI.
